Established
in the early 1980's, Southern Belle Orchard is situated on 5.05
hectares of land just 5kms from Matamata township and very close
to the Hobbiton Lord of the Rings Film location. We have 2500
feijoa trees producing fruit for both the local and export markets
and a 1500m²
greenhouse with 4600 capsicum (paprika) and 200 chilli plants which
are grown hydroponically for the local New Zealand market.
Farmstay
Accommodation - Our separate and private guest apartment
was completed in 2006 and offers competitively priced, private,
quiet, self-catering accommodation. The perfect base for exploring
all the attractions Waikato has to offer.
The
accommodation is self-contained with heat/air-conditioning, stylish
living area, kitchen, dining, bathroom, bedroom, use of spa pool
and beautiful country views.
Tariff
includes self-serve breakfast of cereal, toast, eggs and juice.
