Established
in the early 1980's, Southern Belle Orchard is situated on 5.05
hectares of fertile land (sandy loam) and is located just 5kms from
Matamata township.
Orchard
Tours - We offer technical tours for groups. Please

Greenhouse
- 1500m² - To
obtain optimum results the greenhouse is fitted with computerised
temperature, humidity and irrigation control which is used all year
round
- 4600 Capsicum (Paprika) plants and 200 Chilli plants grown in
a biological way (using natural methods to control harmful insects).
Capsicum and Chillies are grown for the local market.
Orchard
(fully irrigated) - 2500 Feijoa trees (many varieties) - harvested
from April to June for both the local and export markets.
Packhouse
- A purpose built packhouse with grading equipment is used to grade
and pack all fruit and vegetables.
Sales
Shed (open daily) - Freshly picked produce is available
at wholesale prices (subject to availability).
Accommodation
- We have a new, self-catering apartment available for guests who
